HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Katy Perry admits she struggled with her body image back in the day.
"I was shaped like a square at one time. I was!" the pop star tells the March issue of Elle magazine. "I'm generally around 130 pounds, which is totally fine for me. But when I was a kid, I was the same height and weighed more like 145."

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Katy Perry may be on a strict diet, but she's not afraid to let loose once a week.
"I'm on a meal plan, which absolutely sucks — but on Sundays I get to have a cheat day where I go buck wild and eat In-N-Out Burger," the 26-year-old pop star tells Rolling Stone.
Perry is currently keeping a busy schedule as she preps for her 95-date "California Dreams" 2011 world tour, kicking off Feb. 20 in Portugal.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Eminem are among the first batch of performers confirmed for next month's Grammy Awards, organizers revealed Thursday.
Also taking the stage will be fellow Grammy nominees Arcade Fire, Cee Lo Green and Miranda Lambert, with additional performers to be announced soon.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Katy Perry is headed for the small screen, but she's staying away from Sesame Street!
The 26-year-old pop star will guest star on CBS' How I Met Your Mother, the network confirmed Thursday.
Perry will play Zoey's (Jennifer Morrison) cousin, a beautiful, naive girl who the gang resorts to calling "Honey." The episode, conveniently titled "Oh Honey," will air later this season, CBS said.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Katy Perry says she met the perfect match in Russell Brand, whose wild past goes against her Christian upbringing.
"I always knew I wanted a great man of God, someone who was going to be an inspiration for people and also be a lovely husband and father," the 26-year-old pop star tells Harper's Bazaar for its December issue.
Perry and Brand, 35, tied the knot last month in India after less than a year of dating.

Both singers will be making their first appearance on the taped program, airing Nov. 30 on CBS.

"It will just be like a normal one," the 35-year-old actor and comedian tells British radio station Heart 106.2 of the twosome's nuptials, which are expected to take place later this month in India, the sight of his New Year's Eve 2009 proposal.

NEW YORK — Katy Perry poked fun at her recent Sesame Street controversy by playing a busty teenager last night on SNL.
For the skit, Perry took on the role of Maureen Dichico, a teen whose boobs have been getting lots of attention while she volunteers at the local library. The situation leads to her appearing on the mock talk show, Bronx Beat, hosted by SNL stars Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Katy Perry has been bounced from Sesame Street after her risqué attire upset the legendary children show's audience.
The 25-year-old pop star recently filmed a segment with Elmo for the program, in which she wore a gold bustier top while singing a duet of her hit "Hot N Cold." But Perry's cleavage caused parents to voice their displeasure after the clip appeared online.
