2 Arrested in Suspected Joss Stone Murder Plot

LONDON – Two men have been arrested near Joss Stone's home on suspicion of conspiracy to rob and murder, after reportedly being found in a car with swords, rope, a body bag and plans of the soul singer's secluded house.
Stone said in a statement that she was "absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal" as police faced a deadline to charge or release the suspects.
Christina Aguilera Joins Maroon 5 on New Single, 'Moves Like Jagger'

LOS ANGELES – Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine of NBC's talent show "The Voice" are putting their voices together on a new Maroon 5 single.
Aguilera is featured with Levine and his band on the tune "Moves Like Jagger," which will be released next week on iTunes.

NEW YORK – Bruce Springsteen says band mate Clarence Clemons' stroke was serious and he's going to need a lot of help to get back to his former self.
The Boss commented Tuesday on his longtime friend and E Street Band member on his website, Twitter and Facebook. It's the first time he's spoken since it was revealed Sunday that Clemons had suffered a stroke.

NEW YORK – The first time Stevie Wonder performed at the Apollo, he was just a child, and he remembers being so nervous, he dropped his bongos on the stage floor.
Wonder had no such butterflies Monday night as he was honored during the famed theater's spring gala with induction into the Legends Hall of Fame, which includes Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Ella Fitzgerald and James Brown.
Jessica Candage, 'American Idol' Contestant, Facing Domestic Abuse Charge

PORTLAND, Maine – A two-time "American Idol" contestant from Maine is facing a domestic abuse charge after a police officer saw her hit her husband.
A police report says 25-year-old Jessica Candage of Yarmouth was spotted Sunday evening by a Portland officer who said it appeared she was preventing her husband from walking toward him. The officer then saw Candage punch her husband, Craig, in the face several times.

Placido Domingo Dedicates 'Il Postino' Shows to Composer

PARIS – Celebrated tenor Placido Domingo on Tuesday dedicated upcoming Paris performances of "Il Postino" to the opera's late composer, Daniel Catan.
The Mexican composer died suddenly last April at age 62, and was found dead in bed in Austin, Texas. Domingo said with Catan's passing, the world has lost "an extraordinary man of the theater and I have lost a great friend."
Carl Gardner, Coasters Lead Singer, Dead at 83

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – Carl Gardner, original lead singer of the R&B group the Coasters, has died in Florida. He was 83.
Gardner's wife Veta said her husband died Sunday at a Port St. Lucie hospice following a long bout with congestive heart failure and vascular dementia.
