HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Lady Gaga was forced to postpone her Thursday night concert at Purdue University's Elliott Hall of Music after she collapsed backstage.
"I've been crying for hours, I feel like I let my fans down 2nite. An hour before the show, I was feeling dizzy and having trouble breathing," the 23-year-old pop star explained of the sudden cancellation on Twitter.
Gaga said paramedics told her backstage that she was suffering from an irregular heartbeat, "a result of exhaustion and dehydration."
'Dexter' Star Michael C. Hall Has Cancer

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Dexter star Michael C. Hall has been diagnosed with cancer, his spokesman revealed Wednesday to the Associated Press.
The 38-year-old actor has been undergoing treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma for an undisclosed period of time, but is expected to make a full recovery. Spokesman Craig Bankey said the cancer is in remission and Hall's treatment will continue as planned.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Gary Coleman has been hospitalized after falling ill early Wednesday in Los Angeles, the Associated Press reports.
The 41-year-old actor was in town doing promotional work at a hotel when he fell ill, prompting an emergency call around 8 a.m. Coleman was transported to a local hospital via ambulance for tests, but his agent, Robert Malcolm, said the former Diff'rent Strokes was hospitalized as a precautionary measure.

NEW YORK — Howard Stern sidekick Artie Lange has been hospitalized in New Jersey for an undisclosed ailment, according to E! News.
"We can confirm that Artie is in the hospital," the comedian's rep said in a statement. "Artie has chosen to keep all information on this matter between him and his doctor. There will be no further comment."
Lange, 42, has been missing from Stern's satellite radio show since early December. He's long battled substance abuse problems, a topic he's frequently discussed on air.
The MADtv alum has also canceled several recent stand-up gigs, including a New Year's Eve engagement at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City. According to his website, Lange's upcoming performances in late January and February have also been called off.

LOS ANGELES — Elton John is still lending his support to Eminem as the controversial rapper attempts to beat a drug addiction.
"I've been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he's doing brilliantly," the 62-year-old John shared in an interview with BBC Radio's Danny Baker.
In May, Eminem confessed to The Sun that he reached out to John as he sought to overcome his addiction to several prescription drugs, including the heroin substitute methadone. The unlikely pair first hit it off when they performed together at the 2001 Grammys.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry was seriously injured Wednesday in a domestic dispute with his fiancee, the Associated Press reports.
The NFL star was discovered lying on a south Charlotte road with "life-threatening injuries" after he fell out of the back of a pickup truck. He was transported to Carolinas Medical Center, where a source tells Fox Sports that the situation is "dire," with Henry on life support.
