SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. — Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is no Lindsay Lohan in the eyes of the court.
The Jersey Shore star was fined $500 and sentenced to two days of community service after pleading guilty on Wednesday to disturbing New Jersey beachgoers, the Associated Press reports.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy who famously arrested Mel Gibson for DUI in 2006 has sued his own department, claiming he's the victim of retaliation because he refused to remove the actor's anti-Semitic slurs from the arrest report, TMZ reports.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Las Vegas police officials are defending their decision to quickly release Paris Hilton after she was arrested on a felony cocaine possession charge.
The heiress was allowed to leave the Clark County Detention Center after just three hours, a quick turnaround that suggests she received special treatment. However, officials at the correctional facility say her presence would have caused too much chaos among the inmates.

NASSAU, Bahamas — A judge in the Bahamas has dismissed charges against two people accused of trying to extort $25 million from John Travolta following the tragic death of his son.
The case was dismissed Monday at the request of the Grease star and his wife, actress Kelly Preston.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Spencer Pratt could be sued by Karissa Shannon for allegedly stealing some x-rated footage from her home.
Pratt is thought to be in possession of a sex tape featuring the former Playboy Playmate and her boyfriend Sam Jones, but the blonde beauty - a close friend of Spencer's estranged wife Heidi Montag - claims he illegally took the private video and is threatening legal action if he doesn't return it.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Lindsay Lohan's comeback may have just taken a wrong turn.
The 24-year-old actress has been accused of hitting a baby stroller with her car Wednesday while driving in West Hollywood. Eyewitnesses tell RadarOnline that Lohan struck a woman pushing a toddler in a stroller when she failed to look both ways before making a turn in her new Maserati.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is continuing to investigate claims that Mel Gibson's estranged girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, attempted to extort money from the actor in exchange for keeping their heated phone calls a secret.
According to TMZ, authorities have already interviewed Gibson twice and plan to meet with him again, thus suggesting they are taking his claims seriously.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle were arrested Wednesday night in West Hollywood on drug charges.
According to the Associated Press, police stopped the couple on Sunset Boulevard when they smelled marijuana coming from T.I.'s vehicle.
T.I., 39, and Cottle, 36, were arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamines. The twosome, who tied the knot in July, were released from jail hours later after posting $10,000 bail each.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Paris Hilton now has two less options when it comes to partying in Las Vegas.
The 29-year-old starlet has been banned from both the Wynn and Encore resorts after her arrest Friday for possession of cocaine, hotel spokesperson Jennifer Dunne told the Associated Press.
