HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Miranda Cosgrove wouldn't mind majoring in film at New York University, but she still has some convincing to do at home.
"My dad still wants me to go to USC," the 17-year-old singer and actress, who will take the SAT exam in the coming months, tells People. "He loves USC. Every four or five days he gives me his USC speech."

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Miranda Cosgrove is joining some elite company.
The 16-year-old iCarly star has signed on as Neutrogena's latest Brand Ambassador, following in the footsteps of such stars as Gabrielle Union, Hayden Panettiere, Vanessa Hudgens, Jennifer Garner, Diane Lane and Emma Roberts.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Miranda Cosgrove is adding to her already busy schedule.
The 16-year-old star of Nickelodeon's "iCarly" will perform "Raining Sunshine" for the end credits of the upcoming animated film "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs."
"We couldn't be more excited," said Lia Vollack, president of worldwide music for Sony Pictures Entertainment. "She's an amazing artist who brings her smart, fresh style to our film."

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Fans of the popular series "iCarly" hit the Web Friday after rumors spread that the Nickelodeon show had been cancelled.
In a video posted on several Web sites, "iCarly" star Nathan Kress was alleged to have said that he and his fellow cast members — Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy and Jerry Trainor — are in the midst of filming the final season of the Emmy-nominated series.
However, fans can rest easily because the series won't be leaving the airwaves anytime soon.
