HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Fans of the popular series "iCarly" hit the Web Friday after rumors spread that the Nickelodeon show had been cancelled.
In a video posted on several Web sites, "iCarly" star Nathan Kress was alleged to have said that he and his fellow cast members — Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy and Jerry Trainor — are in the midst of filming the final season of the Emmy-nominated series.
However, fans can rest easily because the series won't be leaving the airwaves anytime soon.
"We pace our hits, and we just love this show so much," Marjorie Cohen, executive vice president of Nickelodeon's original programming and development, revealed earlier this week. "We're going to continue to make it and hopefully it will continue to be incredibly well-received."
While "iCarly" hasn't created the same amout of buzz as Disney's teen hit "Hannah Montana," Cosgrove says that's totally fine by her.
"I don't think I'd want to be constantly followed by paparazzi," the 16-year-old said. "All of my friends are from elementary school — they're not in the business at all — so I'm usually just hanging out with them. I don't do anything too crazy."

Nickelodeon would still have SpongeBob SquarePants if iCarly got cancelled. Nevertheless, iCarly is great and I'm glad it's not getting cancelled. :)
I watch this show with my six
I watch this show with my six year old daughter. She loves it and I have to admit, I enjoy it too. The guy who plays the older brother always makes me laugh! He reminds me of a combination of Jerry Lewis and Jim Carrey! I'm glad this isn't being cancelled. Lets hope for many more seasons of iCarly.

No shame in that. I'm 19, some would say to grown to watch something like this, others might say far more accepting than the 30+ who watch Hannah Montana just to aee Miley Cyrus...
...anyhow, I find the show funny. Nick really does lack good original shows, especially non-cartoon ones and well, I just enjoy the show and give the actors all the credit in the world.

Believe it or not, I'm 41
Believe it or not, I'm 41 years old & I love to watch icarly. Earlier this year i was out of work for like 5 months recovering from an injury so you get kind of bored, especially when there is nothing really on tv. So 1 day I was channel surfing & came across this show & I have been watching it ever since. It kind of seems like a teenage "Wayne's world" LOL. My friends, nieces, nephews & even my girlfriend tease me about watching this show but I don't care. I think its a great show & I'll keep watching it as long as its around.
