SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Basketball great Charles Barkley was arrested early Wednesday on suspicion of driving under the influence, The Associated Press reports.
The former NBA star was stopped by authorities after running a stop sign around 1:30 a.m. in Scottsdale, Ariz., AP says.
Barkley, 45, was issued a citation for driving while impaired and released pending the results of a blood test, Gilbert police Lt. Eric Shuhandler told AP.
