LOS ANGELES – Michael Douglas is feeling "good".
The 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' actor recently completed treatment for throat cancer and admits he is feeling better than ever after his time out to recover from the disease.
He said: "I feel good. It's nice, about a year out."
Speaking backstage at the Michael Kors fashion show, Michael confirmed he and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones are planning a break in the country.

NEW YORK – Michael Douglas' ex-wife has lost a bid to revive her quest for half his "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" earnings in a New York court, ending the latest episode in a bitter sequel to their multimillion-dollar divorce.
A Manhattan judge reiterated in a ruling Thursday that the cash clash belongs in California, where the couple divorced in 2000 after 23 years together. Cooper threw out Diandra Douglas's suit for the same reasons in November, but she asked him to reconsider.

Lawyers for both sides traded barbs Tuesday over Diandra Douglas' continuing efforts to get half the Academy Award-winning actor's take from the 2010 movie.

NEW YORK — Michael Douglas is not near death, his longtime friend and publicist assured Thursday.
"Michael is totally focused on his recovery," rep Allen Burry told People, silencing reports that the Oscar winner's health has taken a turn for the worse after being diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer in August.
Douglas, 66, recently completed eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy treatment.

NEW YORK — Michael Douglas dropped by Tuesday's Late Show with David Letterman, where he opened up about his stage 4 throat cancer prognosis.
"You've never looked better to me, and this proves that you're a tough guy for God's sakes," Letterman told the 65-year-old actor, drawing cheers from the studio audience.
"Let's just say ... I'm pretty lit up right now," replied Douglas.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Michael Douglas has been diagnosed with a tumor in his throat, but the actor is expected to make a full recovery.
Douglas, 65, will undergo radiation and chemotherapy treatment for eight weeks, his spokesperson tells People.
"I am very optimistic," Douglas told the mag Monday in a statement.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Michael Douglas' son was sentenced to five years in prison Tuesday stemming from a drug arrest last summer, the Associated Press reports.
U.S. District Judge Richard Berman warned Cameron Douglas, 31, that this was his "last chance to make it" at the sentencing. The actor's son said he has been sober since being sent to prison in August, his longest drug-free stint since his teenage years.

NEW YORK — Cameron Douglas, the 30-year-old son of Oscar-winning star Michael Douglas, has been arrested on a drug charge.
The actor's son was arrested on July 28 on a methamphetamine-dealing charge at the posh Hotel Gansevoort in Manhattan, the Associated Press reports.
It isn't the first time that Cameron has faced drug charges. In 2007, he was charged with cocaine possession in California.
