It turns out Lindsay Lohan was never really booked to read the Top Ten list on Thursday's Late Show with David Letterman after all. That's because the show supposedly got punked by a fake rep for the starlet.
NEW YORK — President Barack Obama continued his busy promotional schedule Monday by paying a visit to the "Late Show with David Letterman."
During his appearance, Obama discussed a number of topics, including the recent controversial comment by former president Jimmy Carter, who suggested that criticism of Obama's presidency is driven by race.
"I think it's important to realize that I was actually black before the election," he told Letterman.
"How long have you been a black man?" the host joked in response.
NEW YORK — David Letterman has opened up about his reasoning for finally tying the knot after 23 years of dating his girlfriend, Regina Lasko.
The 62-year-old Letterman revealed his "Top 10 Reasons I Got Married" list on Tuesday night's "Late Show," with his No. 1 explanation being: "figured at the least we'd get a mediocre Top 10 out of it."
Also making the list were "she needed a green card" and "don't have to listen to any more crap from that quack Dr. Phil."
NEW YORK — Tom Cruise continued his run of poking fun of himself during his appearance on Tuesday night's "Late Show with David Letterman."
The 46-year-old actor, whose latest film, "Valkyrie," opens in theaters on Christmas Day, offered up the top 10 "Craziest Things People Say About Tom Cruise on the Internet."
Among the highlights were No. 8, "I still wear those underpants from "Risky Business," and No. 4, "I believe all emotional and psychological disorders can be cured with Vicks Vapor Rub."
NEW YORK — John McCain finally made his appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman" Thursday night, several weeks after a last-minute cancellation sent the host into a tizzy.
Letterman wasted little time jumping into what went wrong, which prompted the Republican presidential nominee to simply say, "I screwed up."
When the duo finally got around to talking about Wednesday night's presidential debate, McCain painted a dim future for the talk-show host.
