MIAMI – A publicist for Sean Kingston is offering the latest on the hip-hop singer who's been hospitalized since crashing his watercraft into a Miami Beach bridge over the weekend.
Joseph Carozza said Tuesday that Kingston remains in critical but stable condition. He says the singer's family is asking for privacy while acknowledging how grateful they are for the prayers and support from Kingston's fans.

Publicist Joseph Carozza said there were no updates Tuesday morning on his condition. He added that Kingston's family is grateful for everyone's prayers and support.
Kingston, 21, and a female passenger were injured when the watercraft hit the Palm Island Bridge around 6 p.m. Sunday, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokesman Jorge Pino said.

The publicist, Joseph Carozza, said Kingston's family is grateful for everyone's prayers and support.

MIAMI – Authorities say hip-hop singer Sean Kingston is hospitalized after crashing a personal watercraft into a Miami Beach bridge.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokesman Jorge Pino says Kingston and a female passenger were injured when the watercraft hit the Palm Island Bridge around 6 p.m. Sunday.
Pino says both were hospitalized early Monday at Ryder Trauma Center, but he didn't know their conditions.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Rappers Snoop Dogg, Warren G and The Game joined family, friends and about 1,000 fans of Nate Dogg to remember the hip-hop singer, who died this month of complications from multiple strokes.
The family of Nate Dogg — whose real name was Nathaniel Dwayne Hale — decided that the ceremony at the Queen Mary Dome would not be open to the public as they previously wanted, but they made 1,000 tickets and shuttles available to fans.

NEWARK, N.J. – Rapper and actor Ja Rule admitted Tuesday that he failed to pay taxes on more than $3 million in income, and he faces up to three years in prison.
The platinum-selling rapper, whose given name is Jeffrey Atkins, earned the money between 2004 and 2006 while he lived in Saddle River, an upscale community in northern New Jersey.
If the plea conditions are met, the government will dismiss two counts against him for unpaid taxes on about $1 million he earned in 2007 and 2008.

NEW YORK – Ja Rule is set to go to jail in June in a New York City gun case.
On Wednesday, a judge set a June 8 date for the platinum-selling rapper-actor's sentencing. His lawyer says he'll spend the intervening months finishing a new album, "Renaissance Project," and taking care of tax matters.
The 35-year-old performer pleaded guilty in December to attempted weapon possession. He agreed to a two-year prison term.

The 28-year-old rapper was released early Thursday from Rikers Island jail after serving eight months in a gun case.

ATLANTA — T.I. is being called a hero after he stopped a suicide attempt Wednesday in Atlanta.
The 30-year-old hip-hop star rushed to the scene after he heard about a man who was prepared to jump off the 22-story V103 radio station building.
"Something in my heart just said, 'You need to help,' " the rapper, whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., told People of his decision to get involved.
After he arrived, T.I. videotaped a message that negotiators showed to the man.

NEW YORK — Lil Wayne has landed in solitary confinement after prison officials determined he was in possession of musical contraband.
The 28-year-old rapper was moved Monday into what jail officials call "punitive segregation" for a month at Rikers Island, the Associated Press reports.
