RAPID CITY, S.D. – A judge has ruled in favor of Kevin Costner in a dispute between the Hollywood actor and an artist he commissioned to create a bronze sculpture for a resort in South Dakota's Black Hills.
The dispute centered around whether there was agreement between Costner and artist Peggy Detmers on the site where the artwork now sits. The Rapid City Journal reports that Judge Randall Macy ruled there was.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kevin Costner has become a father for the seventh time.
The 55-year-old star and his wife, Christine Baumgartner, welcomed a baby girl named Grace Avery Costner on Wednesday in California, his rep tells People.
The couple's daughter weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounches, and measured 21 inches long. She was born at 5:46 p.m., Costner's rep said.

NEW ORLEANS — Kevin Costner has landed a new role off the big screen that involves cleaning up the major oil spill spreading across the Gulf of Mexico.
Disturbed by the disastrous 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill in Alaska, the actor and environmental activist funded a science group, Ocean Therapy Solutions, headed by his brother Dan, to develop a technology that can separate oil from water.

LOS ANGELES — Kevin Costner was feeling "violently sick" when an employee of his asked for medical assistance, according to a tape of the January 911 call obtained by TMZ.
The 53-year-old actor was driving in Hollywood when the sudden illness forced him to the side of the road.

LOS ANGELES — Kevin Costner was released from the hospital Thursday morning after a medical scare led to an overnight stay, according to People.
The 53-year-old actor was driving in the Hollywood vicinity Wednesday night when he began feeling "lightheaded," his publicist told the magazine.
"He called 911 and they kept him overnight in the hospital," said the rep.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kevin Costner and his wife Christine Baumgartner are expecting their second child together, Entertainment Tonight has confirmed.
Costner, 53, and Baumgartner, 34, were married at the actor's ranch in Aspen, Colo. on Sept. 25, 2004. Their newest addition is said to be due next year.
