LOS ANGELES – Karina Smirnoff is posing nude for the May issue of Playboy magazine.
Hugh Hefner, the magazine's founder, announced the pictorial news on Twitter.
"The May issue of Playboy is unforgettable with Dancing With The Stars' Karina Smirnoff on the cover & nude inside," Hefner said on Wednesday.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Karina Smirnoff is preparing to waltz down the aisle!
The Dancing With the Stars pro is now engaged to her boyfriend, baseball star Brad Penny, the happy bride-to-be revealed Saturday night to People.
Penny proposed to Smirnoff on Oct. 4 with a 4.5 carat Asscher Cut diamond engagement ring.

LOS ANGELES — Aaron Carter insists "there is nothing going on" between him and Karina Smirnoff, his pro partner on ABC's Dancing With the Stars.
"It is completely false," the 21-year-old Carter tells Us Weekly of the dating rumors surrounding the pair. "We are two people who like to be out and about and if it were true, you would have seen us out together already! And we would have been caught."
Smirnoff, 31, is also attempting to silence the dating buzz, particularly since it comes on the heels of her recent split with fiancé Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are back to dancing solo.
The professional dancers have broken up after getting engaged on New Year's Eve in Las Vegas, Smirnoff's rep has confirmed.
Smirnoff, 31, and Chmerkovskiy, 29, started dating since last summer and have been busy making plans for their wedding. Although in July, Chmerkovskiy admitted to People that the couple's wedding plans were coming along slowly.
"We're probably going to do something in Manhattan, I don't know what," he said. "We're moving along, but it's not a fast process."
On Monday, Chmerkovskiy confessed that the relationship had run its course in a message posted on his Twitter page that has since been removed.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy will soon enjoy a wedding dance together.
The two "Dancing" stars are now engaged, a source revealed to People.
Chmerkovskiy reportedly proposed to Smirnoff on New Year's Eve as the couple rang in 2009 at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.
Smirnoff, 30, and Chmerkovskiy, 28, first started dating over the summer.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff have split, People magazine has confirmed.
"Karina has parted ways with her two-year relationship with Mario Lopez," a rep for Smirnoff tells the mag. "The relationship wasn't heading in the right direction."
The former "Saved by the Bell" star also confirmed the end of the couple's relationship.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Karina Smirnoff is denying a report by People magazine that she has split with her boyfriend Mario Lopez.
"Mario and I are fine. Everything's good," the 30-year-old dance pro tells E! News correspondent and "Dancing With the Stars" co-host Samantha Harris.
Smirnoff met the 34-year-old Lopez, who is currently starring in "A Chorus Line" on Broadway, during the third season of "Dancing With the Stars."
Lopez also denied the report, telling E! via email, "It's all good."

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Karina Smirnoff is denying rumors of a blossoming romance with her "Dancing With the Stars" partner Mario.
"We have a completely professional relationship," the dancing pro tells UsMagazine.com. "I have a lot of respect for Mario. He is a great person."
The denial follows a report by the New York Post's Page Six that claims Smirnoff was spotted kissing the R&B singer at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.
