LOS ANGELES – Gerard Butler has been doing yoga to lose weight.
The 'Coriolanus' star unveiled his dramatically slimmer physique in August and he admits he has been keeping trim thanks to a careful diet and exercise plan.
He said: "I ate my last meal in October and I run about 40 miles day. I'm joking! It's just doing a lot of cardio and extremely watching what I eat. I stopped lifting big weights and I'm doing yoga.

NEW YORK — Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler hit the red carpet Tuesday night for the premiere of their new film, The Bounty Hunter.
While she didn't address romance rumors surrounding the co-stars, Aniston did admit that she and Butler "had a ball" filming the action-comedy, which opens in theaters this weekend.
"We had a great time together, we really did," said Aniston, 41, from the red carpet.
Butler, 40, echoed the fun times during filming, saying Aniston really stepped up when it came to shooting her action scenes.
"She was amazing," he said. "There's a lot of stuff that she hadn't done before, but for her it was nothing."

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Gerard Butler has been accused of punching a member of the paparazzi, according to Reuters.
Los Angeles police officials say the 38-year-old actor is currently under investigation after a photographer filed a police report, accusing the "300" star of punching him several times in the face early Tuesday morning.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Gerard Butler has signed up to star opposite Katherine Heigl in the battle of the sexes comedy "The Ugly Truth."
The film centers on a romantically-challenged news producer (Heigl) who is forced to hire an obnoxious self-proclaimed relationship expert (Butler) for her show. His theories end up helping her get the guy of her dreams.
