LOS ANGELES – James Marsden's wife has filed for divorce.
The 'X-Men' actor's spouse Lisa Linde cited irreconcilable differences in papers filed in court a week ago, and stated she is seeking spousal support and joint legal and physical custody of their two children, Jack,10, and six-year-old Mary.
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kate Walsh and her husband, Alex Young, have split after less than 15 months of marriage, People magazine reports.
According to court documents obtained by the mag, Young filed for divorce on Nov. 22, citing irreconcilable differences.
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jodie Sweetin has filed for divorce from her husband, Cody Herpin, after 16 months of marriage, according to People.
The 26-year-old former "Full House" star asked for a legal separation when she filed her divorce papers Wednesday in Orange County, Calif., the magazine says.
Sweetin and the 31-year-old Herpin were married in Las Vegas on July 14, 2007.
LONDON — Madonna and Guy Ritchie are one step closer to officially being over and done with.
On Friday, the ex-couple was granted a preliminary decree of divorce in the High Court of London, according to The Associated Press.
Known in the U.K. as a "quickie divorce," the pair's split will become official if there are no disputes in the next six weeks and one day.
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — E! host Debbie Matenopoulos and her husband Jay Faires are getting divorced after five years of marriage.
Faires, who is president of music at Lionsgate, cited irreconcilable differences in court papers that he filed Wednesday in Los Angeles. He has requested that the court not award Matenopoulos spousal support.

"In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months," read the statement. "The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children."
LONDON — Madonna and Guy Ritchie have officially announced their plans to end their nearly eight-year marriage in a statement sent to The Associated Press by the pop star's publicist.
"Madonna and Guy Ritchie have agreed to divorce after seven-and-a-half years of marriage. They have both requested that the media maintain respect for their family at this difficult time," read the brief statement by the singer's rep, Liz Rosenberg.
The statement, which was co-signed by Ritchie's representative, says the couple has yet to agree to a divorce settlement.
"The judgment of the court would be to try and assess what they came in with and divide what they built up fairly equally," said David Allison, an attorney with the London firm Family Law in Partnership, told AP.
News of the couple's breakup first surfaced in Britain's The Sun newspaper, which said the pair was planning to call it quits because they "can't bear to live with the pretence any longer."
The 50-year-old Madonna, who was married to actor-director Sean Penn prior to her nuptials with Ritchie, is currently in the midst of her "Sticky and Sweet" concert tour in the U.S., while Ritchie, 40, has been busy filming "Sherlock Holmes" in France.
Sources told the Sun the couple has been arguing over the amount of time each spends on their individual careers, as well as Madonna's desires to adopt again. Madonna and Ritchie have two children, biological son Rocco, 8, and David, 2, whom they adopted in 2006. The pop star also has a daughter, Lourdes, 12, from a previous relationship with personal trainer Carlos Leon.
"It's very sad. They were a great couple and brilliant parents. They just couldn't live together any more," an insider told the Sun.
"Despite huge attempts to patch things up, they both knew deep down that divorce was in the cards," continued the source. "It wasn't a matter of 'if' but 'when.' They tried hard over the past few months, but their fighting was getting out of control."

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Dennis Quaid is firing back at his ex-wife Meg Ryan for discussing their failed marriage and his alleged infidelity.
"It was eight years ago, and I find it unbelievable that Meg continues publicly to rehash and rewrite the story of our relationship," the 54-year-old actor told Rush & Malloy of the New York Daily News. "Also, I find it regrettable that our son, Jack, has to be reminded in a public way of the turmoil and pain that every child feels in a divorce."
Ryan first spoke about the former couple's split during an interview with InStyle to promote her current film, "The Women."
"Dennis was not faithful to me for a long time, and that was very painful," the 46-year-old actress told the magazine.
Ryan also told ABC's Diane Sawyer: "I just feel like every now and then you have to fill in the gaps for people."
One potential reason for Ryan bringing the marriage back into the spotlight is Quaid's sobriety. A source revealed to Rush & Malloy that Ryan may believe her ex is drinking again, which would impact his visitation rights with Jack, who turned 16 in April.
"Meg and I have always had joint custody of Jack without any stipulations whatsoever," he said of the allegations.
Quaid has since remarried, having tied the knot with Texas real estate agent Kimberly Buffington on July 4, 2004. The couple welcomed twins last November.
"I, myself, moved on years ago and am fortunate to have a happy, beautiful family," he told the News.
