LAS VEGAS – Some actors swear a lot as the cameras roll and, in most instances, those blue moments end up on the cutting-room floor. But not in the case of "Bad Teacher," in which Cameron Diaz raises profanity to the level of high art in her title role.
"It was all phonetic," Diaz said, laughing. "We started with an `F' and we ended up with a `K,' and, apparently, if you put these other two letters in between, it makes a very funny noise ... and people understand it."

LAS VEGAS – As big-screen teachers go, Cameron Diaz will not be joining, say, Sidney Poitier or Sandy Dennis as inspiring role models to her classroom kids.
The title of Diaz's school comedy pretty much sums up her character: "Bad Teacher."

DALLAS — Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriquez would have made Orville Redenbacher proud at Sunday's Super Bowl in Dallas.
During the Fox telecast, cameras cut to a shot of a star-studded luxury box at Cowboys Stadium. Former President George W. Bush was seated next to a texting John Madden in the area, with nearby neighbors including Michael Douglas and his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — In Knight and Day, Tom Cruise is a covert agent and Cameron Diaz is a woman caught between him and those he claims set him up. As their globetrotting adventure erupts into a maze of double-crosses, close escapes, false identities, and head-spinning romantic snafus, they come to realize that all they can count on is each other.
The action-comedy is filled with plenty of explosive stunts, which both stars managed to complete mostly on their own.
"If I could do that all day long, you don't have to pay me," Diaz says of doing her own stunts.

LOS ANGELES — Cameron Diaz is setting the record straight about rumors she's dating New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez.
"No, no, no," the 37-year-old actress tells Playboy magazine for its July issue. "I've been in relationships since I was 16 years old. In the past three years I've made a conscious decision not to be in a relationship for as long as I want. I've stayed away from all the traps out there for me to just fall into something that will potentially lead me down the same road...I want to have a relationship with myself right now."

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Justin Timberlake is heading back to the big screen, this time opposite his former girlfriend, Cameron Diaz.
The 29-year-old star has been cast as the male lead in Bad Teacher, American Superstar has learned.
Molly Shannon and Eric Stonestreet also are joining the film's cast.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Cameron Diaz is back on the big screen this weekend in a well-hyped role billed as the finest of her career.
The 36-year-old actress stars in "My Sister's Keeper" as Sara Fitzgerald, the mother of a girl (Sofia Vassilieva) who is stricken with leukemia. After the diagnosis, Sara and her husband, Brian (Jason Patric), conceive a younger sister who can provide a donor match, but the family is torn apart when, after years of medical procedures, the healthy younger sibling (Abigail Breslin) sues her parents for the right to decide how her body is used.
The film also stars Alec Baldwin as the attorney leading the charge on the younger sibling's behalf.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Days after being linked to hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, Cameron Diaz shared an intimate dinner with Jennifer Aniston's ex-boyfriend Paul Sculfor.
Diaz, 35, and Sculfor, 37, were spotted having dinner together Sunday night at Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif.
"They looked really flirty," a source tells People magazine of the dinner date. "She was laughing really loud at all of his jokes."

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Cameron Diaz says she's all about "balance" when it comes to finding the ideal man.
"You can have smart but not funny. You can have funny but not very smart. You can have intellectual but not social. But... I want it all," Diaz shares in the June issue of InStyle magazine.
"I don't do anything half-assed, and I want somebody who can keep up with all that," she adds. "And I want someone who can show me something, you know?"

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Cameron Diaz says she's just like a fine wine.
"I feel I get better with age," the 35-year-old actress reveals in the June issue of the U.K. version of Cosmopolitan. "I look at pictures of myself when I was 21 and think, 'Wow, I don't look so bad.' "
Of course, Diaz, whose father passed away unexpectedly last month, says part of the reason for that is the wisdom that comes with age.
