HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Talk about a lack of street cred.

Marv Albert ran into trouble Wednesday night when 50 Cent's entourage took him on backstage at a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

According to the Los Angeles Times, a couple of fists flew when 50 Cent's crew failed to recognized the legendary broadcaster, who was still in shock after the incident.

"Did you see that?" Albert told the paper after the scuffle, in which one Kimmel show guard was heard yelling, "It's Marv Albert!"

"I thought they were kidding, but then I realized they weren't," the TNT basketball announcer added.

Albert wasn't injured in the melee, nor was the lone member of his posse, TNT public relations specialist Jeff Pomeroy.
