NEW YORK – Rapper 50 Cent's newest work of fiction will have an anti-bullying message.
The Penguin Young Reader Group has signed up 50 Cent's novel "Playground." The publisher announced Monday that the book is a semi-autobiographical young adult novel about bullying that will come out in January 2012. The 34-year-old rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has acknowledged a violent childhood and dealing drugs at an early age.

NEW YORK – 50 Cent is the latest artist to make a donation to charity after it was revealed he performed at an event linked to the clan of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi.
A statement released to The Associated Press on Wednesday said the rapper, who has his own G-Unity foundation, will be making a donation to UNICEF to help with that organization's relief efforts during the turmoil in Libya.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Are Chelsea Handler and 50 Cent dating? Well, they're at least cuddle buddies!
The comedienne is having a little fun with the romance rumor. On Monday, she posted a picture of the two sharing a bed together.
"I don't know why anyone thinks I would ever date a rapper," she wrote alongside the photo posted on her Twitter page.

"Everyone, calm down," the comedienne said Wednesday. "I met with mr. Cent about a potential project. There's nothing to report yet, ill let you know if there is."

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Chelsea Handler and 50 Cent have sparked dating rumors after the twosome hung out together in New Orleans.
The comedienne and the rapper were photographed getting cozy Sunday night at the Blue Nile nightclub, a local favorite for live music.
"They haven't hooked up, but she's open to it," a source tells E! News of the pairing.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — 50 Cent is defending himself after making a controversial comment on Twitter that implied gay men should commit suicide.
On Wednesday, the rapper fired off a series of tweets about oral sex, the last of which read: "If you [are] man and [you're] over 25 and you don't eat pu--y just kill yourself damn it. The world will be a better place. Lol."

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — 50 Cent is opening up about his dramatic weight loss, a reduction driven by a movie extremely close to his heart.
The 6-foot rapper shed the pounds for Things Fall Apart, a movie he wrote and stars in that tells the story of his friend, a football player, who died from cancer.
"I lost 54 pounds for it," 50 Cent tells Us Weekly of the film, directed by Mario Van Peebles.

Marv Albert ran into trouble Wednesday night when 50 Cent's entourage took him on backstage at a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live!
According to the Los Angeles Times, a couple of fists flew when 50 Cent's crew failed to recognized the legendary broadcaster, who was still in shock after the incident.
"Did you see that?" Albert told the paper after the scuffle, in which one Kimmel show guard was heard yelling, "It's Marv Albert!"

NEW YORK — 50 Cent is off the hook after a judge threw out a $50 million lawsuit brought on by his former girlfriend.
According to The Associated Press, the suit filed by the rapper's ex, Shaniqua Tompkins, was dismissed on Tuesday by Manhattan State Supreme Court Justice Carol Edmead. Tompkins had alleged that her former boyfriend, whom she has an 11-year-old son with, vowed to take care of her forever when he made it big.
