HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — La La Vazquez is inviting fans to her upcoming wedding to Carmelo Anthony.
The Puerto Rican beauty will star in a new VH1 reality series that follows the bride-to-be as she prepares to marry the NBA star, the network announced Thursday.
Premiering on Sept. 19, the five-part series will consist of four half-hour episodes and a one-hour wedding finale.
"From Charm School to the many reunion specials, I have loved being part of the VH1 family," said Vazquez, "and I'm even more excited to now share the behind-the-scenes of this very personal event in my life, my wedding, with that family of viewers."
The series will begin with Vazquez meeting with A-list wedding planner Mindy Weiss as she begins planning her big day. Viewers will ride along as Vazquez shops for the perfect designer wedding dress, chooses the wedding venue, picks out the ultimate wedding cake and menu, plans their honeymoon, and contemplates the guest list. Along the way viewers will also get a glimpse at the former MTV veejay's celeb-hosted bachelorette party in Las Vegas.
Vazquez, 31 and Anthony, 26, announced their plans to marry in January. The longtime couple has a 3-year-old son, Kiyan.
