Jay-Z Announces Fall Concert Tour Dates, Tickets on Sale Friday

Jay-Z, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, newHOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jay-Z is hitting the road for a fall concert tour in support of his upcoming new album.

The Grammy winner has announced 21 North American dates that will include a mix of college campus arenas and traditional venues, with plans to kick off the run at Penn State University on Oct. 9.

Tickets for select markets will go on sale at LiveNation.com on Friday, the same day that Jay-Z is slated to headline a charity concert at New York's Madison Square Garden in support of the New York Police & Fire Widows and Children's Benefit Fund. All proceeds from tickets sales and concert merchandise are to go directly to the charity.

The hip-hop mogul's fall tour is a follow-up to the popular "Mary J. Blige & Jay-Z: Heart of the City" tour, which attracted more than 600,000 fans. The 28-date trek grossed more than $35 million.

In other news, Jay-Z pushed up the release of his new album, "The Blueprint 3," from Friday to today.

Next week, Jay-Z will be joined by Rihanna and Kanye West in kicking off the Sept. 14 debut of "The Jay Leno Show."
