HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Actor Edward Furlong was arrested Tuesday morning for allegedly violating a restraining order to stay at least 100 yards away from his estranged wife.
According to TMZ, the 33-year-old star was taken into custody at a progress report hearing on the matter. Officials claim Furlong violated the restraining order last month by coming within 50 yards of Rachael Kneeland.
Furlong, best known for his role in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, was released later in the day after posting bail, TMZ said.
The arrest came hours after Furlong attended the Los Angeles premiere for his new movie, The Green Hornet.
Furlong and Kneeland are currently in the midst of a nasty divorce. The couple, who married in 2006, have a 4-year-old son named Ethan.
