Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin pulled a shocker Friday, announcing that she plans to resign her post on July 26.

"We know we can effect positive change outside government at this moment in time on another scale and actually make a difference for our priorities," said Palin during her shocking news conference.

Early speculation is that Palin's decision to step down is centered around her desire to focus on earning the 2012 Republican nomination for president.

The 20-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore is coming to The CW's "90210" as a guest star, according to Access Hollywood.

A CW rep told Access that Willis will star in at least one episode of the breakout series as a lesbian named Gia. She'll join the school's newspaper staff, where she'll work alongside Navid (Michael Steger), Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) and Silver (Jessica Stroup).

Michael Jackson's Private Funeral Service Set for Tuesday

LOS ANGELES — Michael Jackson's friends and family will gather for the pop icon's private funeral on Tuesday.

According to Access Hollywood, the service will be held in the morning, prior to the public memorial taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles that was announced Thursday.

While few details about the private service have been disclosed, Access reports that a special suit is being designed for Jackson by his longtime collaborators, Dennis Tompkins and Michael Bush. Prior to Jackson's death, the costume designers were working on outfitting his comeback concert run in London.

The "How I Met Your Mother" star gave birth to a baby girl named Shaelyn Cado on May 16, People magazine confirmed Friday.

She is the first child for Smulders and her fiancé, actor Taran Killam, both 27.

The couple announced the pregnancy last November.

Smulders and Killam, who is just two days older than his girlfriend, became engaged in January.

"The cause of death was asphyxiation, an inability to breathe, now why that happened is still what we're working on," Dr. Michael Baden, a forensic pathologist hired by Carradine's family, told Reuters.

Debbie Rowe to Seek Custody of Jackson Children

In her first public comments since Jackson died last Thursday, Debbie Rowe revealed that she plans to fight for custody of the former couple's children.
