MEXICO CITY, Mexico — A former Survivor producer has been detained in Mexico as a suspect in his wife's death, days after reporting her missing in the resort city of Cancun.
According to the KCAL-TV, Bruce Beresford-Redman is being held by authorities after his wife's body was found Thursday in a sewer at the plush Moon Palace resort where the couple was on vacation.

NEWPORT, R.I. — "Survivor" winner Richard Hatch was arrested on Tuesday, hours after appearing on NBC's "Today Show."
Hatch was taken into custody at his sister's home in Newport, R.I., where he has been living under house arrest after serving nearly four years in prison for tax evasion, MSNBC.com reports.

And in his first interview since being released from prison to home confinement, Hatch says he was the victim of discrimination by a legal system out to get him because he's a gay man.
"I know without question that there are personal issues involved for the prosecutor," the 2000 "Survivor" winner told Matt Lauer on Tuesday's "Today Show." "I don't know why. The prosecutorial misconduct has been egregious."
