HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Taylor Swift is headed for Sin City.

The 19-year-old country music star will guest star on an upcoming episode of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," The Associated Press reports.

In her guest-starring role, Swift will play a teenager whose family runs a seedy Las Vegas motel. Her character eventually encounters tragic consequences after undergoing several personal changes.

Swift, whose second studio album, "Fearless," made her the best-selling artist of 2008, recently dipped into some acting when she was the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live."

CBS has yet to announce when Swift's "CSI" episode will air.
