First of all, if you’ve never been to a wiener dog race, please do yourself a favor and go to one.
Second, meet Anderson Pooper. She’s the little dog that could.
Anderson is making quite a name for herself thanks to a video of her racing in the Star 101.5 Wiener Dog Races at Emerald Downs in Seattle, Wash. earlier this month.
The 7-year-old dachshund’s back legs are paralyzed, hence the wheelchair. But that hasn’t stopped the little pup from doing what she loves.
“She loves running. Any chance she gets she’s all in for it,” owner Dave Sizer told The New York Daily News. “We’ll take her to the coast and she’ll run on the beach and we have a hard time keeping up with her.”
Watch Anderson Pooper give everything she’s got in the race video, below.
And because your heart could use even more good feelings today, here’s a video (from her point of view) of Anderson doing a heat of the 2014 Dachshunds on Parade Wiener Dog Races in June.
