Let the damage control tour continue.
Ever since he was outed by Kanye West for dating Kylie Jenner, Tyga has been dodging questions regarding his love life left, right and center — neither confirming or denying that he is currently romantically involved with the underage Keeping Up With the Kardashians star.
On Monday, while stopping by 92.3 AMP Radio, the 25-year-old once again danced around inquiries about his alleged girlfriend. When the radio show host wouldn’t drop the subject, the rapper got candid about his highly illegal relationship with the 17-year-old.
“Whether if I tell the world that I love her or I don’t, it’s gonna be me to dictate that, and how I want to keep my friendship and relationship with her,” Tyga said. “I feel like it doesn’t matter what the world thinks. If you’re around somebody, and you love being around that person, that’s all that matters. I don’t feel like what anybody could say would change … how I feel for her as a person.”
He continued, “She’s just a good person, she’s got great energy.”
Tyga also tried to explain that he has been close to Jenner’s famous family for years. When the interviewer asked the “Rack City” hitmaker to clarify his role in young Jenner’s life and asked if he was “in love with her,” he replied, “I love her as a person.”
“I mean, I don’t think it really matters. If you love being around somebody, that’s all that matters, you know?” he added.
Previously, Tyga denied claims made by Amber Rose — who is pals with his ex-fiancée and baby mama, Blac Chyna — that he is indeed romancing Jenner.
“No, I’m not dating Kylie. I’m not dating her, so I just want to get that out of the way,” he recently said during an interview with Power 105.’’s The Breakfast Club. “I want to be clear to everybody that I didn’t leave my family to be with Kylie. That’s ridiculous.” Meanwhile, Jenner, who doesn’t turn 18 until August 17, continues to drive Tyga’s car, wear his clothes and snap photos of herself in her underwear for the world to see.
