All eyes turned to Sugar Bear when reports surfaced that Mama June and him split up after being together for almost 10 years… But things are taking a different turn now.
Just a little over a month since the pair called it quits and Mama June already has a “new” boyfriend who’s actually not so new. The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star is allegedly dating her ex who is a registered sex offender in the state of Georgia.
The man, 53-year-old Mark McDaniel, was arrested in 2004 for aggravated child molestation, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Sex Offender Rigistry. Prosecutors say he forced an 8-year-old child to perform oral sex.
And that’s not even the worst part. The child (who is now 18) is reportedly a relative of Mama June’s, and she was dating McDaniel when the crime occurred.
TMZ says McDaniel was released after his 10-year sentence in March, and since then, Mama June has been sneaking away from production of her reality show to visit him many times.
TLC, which produces Here Comes Honey Boo Boo says, “TLC is not currently in production on ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.’ We are very concerned about this new information and are reassessing the future of the series.”
