Two is company, three’s a crowd!
Or at least that’s how Jessica Simpson feels when it comes to having kids.
The 34-year-old mother is perfectly happy with her two little towheads and isn’t looking to add any more to her family-of-four with Eric Johnson.
During an interview on Ryan Seacrest‘s KIIS-FM radio show Thursday morning, Simpson was asked if she’s planning to have any more children in the future.
“Oh, we are done,” she quickly responded, but then realized she’d be eating her words if she accidentally did end up preggers some day (after all, her first two pregnancies were completely unplanned). “I say we’re done. I don’t want to accidentally get pregnant one day and then that poor kid feels like it wasn’t meant to be or something. We’ve got the girl and we’ve got the boy.”
But does that mean she’s been turning down her hubby more often lately?
“Oh my gosh, yes,” she told the show’s co-host Ellen K. “After four years, there are definitely moments where you say, ‘No.’ It’s not like rejecting Eric as a man–It’s just that one moment I’m like, ‘Give me five minutes!’”
However, she definitely honors him and celebrates their marriage in other ways… Like taking his last name!
“Jessica Johnson. Doesn’t that sound like the best stripper name ever?” she joked. “I did change it, but for everything else it stays the same. I guess I didn’t change it on my Instagram or my Twitter, so does that not make it official?” But she adds, “My license says ‘Jessica Johnson.’ That makes it legit.”
