Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are rumored to breaking up!
Rumors are flying that the couple is splitting, just three months after Mendes gave birth to their first child, Esmeralda Amada Gosling. Get all of the details below!
Mendes gave birth on Sept. 12, and soon after Gosling got back to work filming a movie, The Nice Guys, in Atlanta. Mendes stayed in Los Angeles with the baby, so Gosling has been pictured flying back and forth to visit. It sounds like the distance might be causing problems in the relationship.
A source reportedly told OK! Magazine, “It’s more than just run-of-the-mill stress that comes with having a newborn. They’re barely talking. Eva has pushed him away.“
Mendes and the baby are in LA, far away from Gosling’s movie set. A source told the magazine, “So instead of coming home every night to them, he’s jetting back and forth just so he can see his daughter.”
A source even said that if the couple do end up splitting, Mendes would ask for full custody! The source explained, “Eva has been the primary, hands-on parent with Ryan away working so much, so she believes full custody is warranted.”
But, Mendes was just on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and when Gosling was mentioned, everything seemed fine! So, it doesn’t seem like the couple is heading for a split!
