I mean, come on, the 19-year-old, 5’10 supermodel just landed the quintessential gig of a life time–that’s right, she is now a Victoria’s Secret Angel confirmed via Twitter.
But this blonde-haired, blue-eyed bombshell is no flash in the pan, as Vogue confirms she has been avidly working towards featuring her good looks in the biggest magazines since the days she was a toddler.
“I went to preschool with the daughter of Paul Marciano of Guess. Our parents became really good friends and he is the one who discovered me. I started shooting Guess Baby and Guess Kids, “ Hadid spills to Vogue.
Gigi has been seen recently walking the runways for Sonia Rykiel, Chanel and Marc Jacobs. But while many of us have become more aware of Gigi thanks to her Instagram posts and growing popularity, it also doesn’t hurt to have famous friends such as Kendall Jenner and Taylor Swift and famous popstar boyfriend Cody Simpson.
As far as her notable fashion-forwardness? The Los Angeles native thanks fellow VS model Candice Swanepoel.
“I love her street style, she is always in cool boyfriend jeans, boots, and an awesome coat, which is very much like what I wear. I love her style, but I think when I was younger, it was that I loved her confidence and her presence.”
