HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Nothing like having a couple of good friends to turn to when the going gets rough.
With news breaking this week of Lauren Conrad's clothing line being dropped by trendy West Hollywood boutique Kitson, L.C.'s fellow "Hills" stars, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, had plenty to say.
"We pray for her," the 24-year-old Pratt told Access Hollywood's Laura Saltman at the E3 Media & Business Summit in L.A.
On Tuesday, Kitson store owner Fraser Ross told OK! magazine that Conrad failed to deliver.
"Sales were lackluster. Initially it was great," said Ross, who added he tried to get the MTV reality star to do a personal appearance at the store, but to no avail.
"They need to realize it's no different than selling your album, your TV shows, your movies," he added. "You have to keep promoting it."
Meanwhile, Montag happily told Access that sales for her clothing line are still going strong.
"It's the number one selling clothing line so it's going well," the 21-year-old said. "[It's sold in] Kitson and all the Anchor Blue stores."
