Former NFL Coach Jimmy Johnson Among 'Survivor: Nicaragua' Cast

Survivor: Nicaragua, cast, season, 21, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Former college and NFL coach Jimmy Johnson headlines the Survivor: Nicaragua cast, CBS announced Monday.

Johnson will be among 20 castaways competing for the million dollar prize when the show's 21st season kicks off on a new night, Wednesday, Sept. 15  at 8 p.m. ET.

Also new will be the castaways being divided into two tribes of 10 comprised of older competitors and younger competitors. The Espada Tribe will made up of individuals over the age of 40, while the La Flor Tribe will consist of individuals ages 30 and younger.

The 67-year-old Johnson led the Dallas Cowboys to back-to-back Super Bowl titles in the early '90s. His coaching career has also included stops at the University of Miami and the NFL's Miami Dolphins.

Johnson won't be the first contestant with NFL ties to appear on the reality series. Former quarterback Gary Hogeboom competed on Survivor: Guatemala in 2005.

Johnson currently works for Fox as an NFL pre-game show analyst.
