LOS ANGELES — Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel may be in the midst of a rocky period, but the longtime couple is still together despite reports to the contrary.
"The rumors about them breaking up are false," a mutual friend of the pair tells American Superstar. "They've had some rough times, but nobody is quitting on the relationship."
The latest issue of Us Weekly reports that Timberlake ended the couple's nearly three-year romance with a phone call about a month ago. The magazine claims the "SexyBack" singer was "clearly on the hunt" while in New York City earlier this month to show his William Rast clothing line at Fashion Week.
"Justin and Jessica are both busy with their own careers," another friend of the couple says in dismissing the magazine's claims. "They can't be in the same place every single moment."
Earlier this week, Timberlake, 28, and Biel, 27, were photographed together during a getaway to Northern California and friends say they remain committed to one another.
"They have their ups and downs like every other couple, but they are still very much in love," another pal insists.
