HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Come on, many of us are guilty of it — getting a tattoo in the name of our lover only to see the relationship eventually go down in flames.
Well, Kristin Cavallari is one who slapped a little ink on thinking it was love ever-after with Nick Zano, whom she began dating in 2006. But the "Laguna Beach" alum is washing away her former lover's initials from her left list.
According to E! Online, Cavallari, who ended things with Zano in December 2007, visited Beverly Hills surgeon Dr. Frank Ryan yesterday to rid herself of Zano for good.
"It is kind of painful," an insider reveals, "but she wants that thing off."
Fittingly, Dr. Ryan is the same doctor who re-invented Heidi Montag with a nose job and some new boobs.
After her stint on "Laguna Beach," Cavallari headed to L.A. and briefly enrolled at Loyola Marymount University. She then landed a hosting gig on UPN's "Get This Party Started," but the series drew low ratings and was canceled after only two episodes.
Last September, Cavallari began shooting the film, "The Green Flash." She also has roles in two upcoming films — "Fingerprints" and "Spring Breakdown," which are both scheduled for release later this year.
