HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Taylor Momsen has picked her latest celebrity target.
Just weeks after she mocked Miley Cyrus, the controversial singer and actress is poking fun at Rihanna, who she claims is just another pop star trying to pass as a rocker.
"People think pop is rock, and the lines are getting blurred," the 17-year-old star tells Spin magazine. "Now Rihanna's wearing f---in' leather jackets, and it's really annoying."
Momsen is certainly protective of her rocker ways as the lead singer of the Pretty Reckless. She made headlines last month when she told FHM UK, "I'm not looking to be Miley f---ing Cyrus."
In addition to her choice words, Momsen has also turned heads with her provocative style, a look she describes as "high-class hooker."
"I dress for myself," she explains. "Clearly, it's provocative, but it makes me feel good. And if the only reason it makes someone uncomfortable is because I'm 17, then that person's a scumbag because it shouldn't matter."
As for where her band's suggestive lyrics come from, the Gossip Girl star says she's already been through a lot for someone her age.
Says Momsen: "I've had a lot of bad experiences, and whether that's from sex or drugs or something else, they are adult experiences that would f--- anyone up."
