HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Blake Lively says falling for her "Gossip Girl" co-star Penn Badgley in real life was easy considering his dancing skills.
"Penn does these silly dance moves, and he's very witty and quick, so it's fun to have sharp banter with him," the 21-year-old actress reveals in the August issue of Seventeen magazine.
While the two stars fell for each quickly, Lively says the couple's romance certainly isn't passionate when they're on the set of the hit CW series.
"When you're saying these words that people are making you say to one another, nothing about it is real or genuine," says Lively, who made her acting debut with a bit role in the 1998 film "Sandman." "So if two people connect outside their characters, then that's how they get together."
When the 21-year-old Badgley isn't available, Lively says she turns to her next favorite passion — Guitar Hero!
"I play in tournaments in Brooklyn," the Tarzana, Calif. native says. "I'll cover myself in sailor tattoos and dress like a rock star. Everyone else dresses totally normally and must think I'm a complete freak!"
While she doesn't mind being confused for a Guitar Hero freak, Lively says she's sick and tired of being compared to socialite Paris Hilton.
"I once heard someone say that I'm similar to Paris Hilton — since I have a dog and blonde hair, that must mean we're alike," she says. "It's a dumb thing to say. I dont think that makes Paris and me similar ... I don't go to clubs, I don't party, I don't dance on tables, and I don't like sex tapes."
