Hair today, gone as soon as she hit the red carpet! Olivia Munn stunned at the L.A. premiere of Office Christmas Party on Wednesday, December 7, rocking a white lace dress — and a brand-new 'do.
Munn, 36, debuted a textured, shoulder-skimming bob hairstyle — a whole foot shorter than her previous length!
"We've talked about cutting her hair for quite some time now, but tonight we finally did it! In the end, it was about 12 inches off," her hairstylist Christian Wood tells Stylish. "To complement this new look, we wanted a style that was cool and effortless. Her hair is quite straight naturally so we went a bit choppier with the cut and created an overall undone look."
To enhance the glam bedhead effect, Wood curled her freshly shorn tresses with a curling iron, alternating the direction of each curl and leaving the ends straight "for a more tousled, beachy look." He turned her hair upside down, shook out the waves and spritzed Matrix Style Link Mineral Booster for added texture ($20, matrix.com). Then, to hold the style, he finished with Matrix Style Link Texture Builder Finish Spray ($18, matrix.com).
But that's not the only thing we loved about her beauty! Munn also added a swoonworthy, cherry red lip. "Olivia's intricate white dress and new haircut inspired me to create a fresh-faced look that featured a bold red lip to give a Hollywood feel without looking overdone," celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta tells Stylish.
To craft Munn's specific scarlet pout, Ta used two products: Lorac Alter Ego Lip Liner in Pin Up ($17, loraccosmetics.com) and Lorac Alter Ego Lipstick, also in Pin Up ($17, loraccosmetics.com).
