Jennifer Lawrence Poses Naked with a Deadly Snake to Kick Off Your Weekend (PHOTO)

By Celebrity News Wire on February 6, 2015

Jennifer Lawrence saw your shark Rihanna, and just raised you a boa constrictor. The Oscar-winning actress poses with a very large, very dangerous snake wrapped around her body for Vanity Fair, and of course she’s not wearing a stitch of clothing. (We always knew J. Law had some serious … guts.)

Shot by Patrick Demarchelier at a private home in the Hollywood Hills, Lawrence manages to look incredibly calm — and incredibly sexy — as she lays nude with her new friend (a Colombian, red-tailed boa constrictor), wearing only a diamond bracelet, plus, an amazing spray tan.

“Lawrence only became uncomfortable when the snake took a fancy to her neck,” Vanity Fair‘s West Coast editor Krista Smith says. “Then the shoot was over and Mr. Boa went back into his box.”

Fashion and Style director Jessica Diehl adds, “Jennifer has the perfect combination of strength, sexuality, and humor, and, above all, tomboy to pull this off.”

The shoot paid tribute to late fashion photographer Richard Avedon’s 1981 Vogue portrait of model/actress Nastassja Kinski. And that python actually kissed the star.

What do you think of Lawrence’s “Girl Meets Boa” shot? Are you a fan of deadly animals in fashion shoots? Who should pose with a snake next? Sound off below.
