LOS ANGELES – Ellen DeGeneres called paramedics after experiencing chest pains yesterday.
The 53-year-old talk show host was suffering from discomfort all evening on Sunday, and when the pain continued into the next day she called the ambulance service.
Within minutes paramedics arrived at the Warner Bros. studios in Los Angeles where she records her series and also a crew from the Burbank Fire Department.

LOS ANGELES – Sarah Michelle Gellar says she has body dysmorphic disorder.
The 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' actress admits having the psychological condition, which causes sufferers to worry about perceived defects in their appearance and can lead to anxiety and depression, and is uneasy looking at herself in the mirror.
She told Health magazine: "I'm a female! I totally have body dysmorphic disorder. I think most women do.

LOS ANGELES – Halle Berry has broken her foot while filming 'Cloud Atlas' in Spain.
The actress was at the house where she is staying while making the sci-fi movie when she mis-stepped, causing her injury.
Sources told website TMZ she was taken to hospital where he foot was put in a cast. She later left the medical facility in a wheelchair.

LOS ANGELES – Michael Douglas is feeling "good".
The 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' actor recently completed treatment for throat cancer and admits he is feeling better than ever after his time out to recover from the disease.
He said: "I feel good. It's nice, about a year out."
Speaking backstage at the Michael Kors fashion show, Michael confirmed he and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones are planning a break in the country.

SYDNEY – Jerry Lewis was hospitalized Friday after he was unable to perform at a show in suburban Sydney, but his publicist said he was simply overtired and was released after a few hours.
The 85-year-old actor, comedian and tireless advocate for muscular dystrophy research is on a fundraising tour for the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Australia. He arrived at the Rooty Hill Returned Servicemen's League club, where he was to perform, but he couldn't get out of the car, said Ian Lowe, the club's general manager.

SYDNEY – Jerry Lewis has canceled a show in Australia due to poor health.
The Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Australia said the comedian's show Friday night in Sydney had been sold out.
Foundation CEO David Jack apologized in a statement, saying the 85-year-old was "not well enough to take the stage." It didn't give details.
Lewis was on national tour to raise funds for the Australian foundation. The statement said he arrived in Australia on Monday and had performed Wednesday in Brisbane.

NEW YORK – Country music legend Glen Campbell has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, and plans to put out his final album this summer.
Campbell's representative Bobbie Gale made the announcement Wednesday. The disease is in its early stages.
The 75-year-old's wife Kim also talked to People magazine and said they wanted to go public with his illness because they wanted fans to know if he has trouble onstage.

MIAMI – Singer Sean Kingston is out of the hospital, almost a month after crashing his watercraft into a Miami Beach bridge.
Kingston's publicist Joseph Carozza said Wednesday the singer is recovering at home after being released from a Miami hospital.
On his Twitter page Sunday, Kingston posted a message to his fans. He wrote: "Feeling alot better! GOD IS GREAT! Thanks for all the prayers and support! Love you ALL!"

DETROIT – The Queen of Soul is performing in a hospital boot after stumbling over a designer shoe and fracturing a toe on her left foot.
Spokeswoman Tracey Jordan told The Associated Press Tuesday that Aretha Franklin has not missed any gigs despite the misstep following a private performance in Dallas.
Franklin performed Thursday at the home of an "oil baron" and was packing at her hotel when the spiked heel of a Jimmy Choo shoe "wrapped" around her toe.

BILOXI, Miss. – Leslie West, guitarist for the rock group Mountain and a 65-year-old diabetic, is recovering after his lower right leg was amputated.
The amputation Monday was needed to stop a septic infection that started in his foot, according to an e-mailed statement from his wife, Jenni West.
