Pat Perez (January 2006) continued his fine play on the PGA Tour this season, finishing in a tie for 12th place at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans on March 30. It was his fourth top-25 finish this year and earned him a paycheck of $110,825. Two weeks earlier, Perez finished in a tie for 31st at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard, taking home a check for $31,513.33. In ten events this season, Perez has earned $643,865. He is currently 51st on the money list for the season and is ranked 54th in the world ....
Chase Budinger (April 2006) plans to explore his chances in the upcoming NBA draft after two seasons at the University of Arizona. It remains to be seen whether the San Diego native will hire an agent. If he doesn't, Budinger will keep his college eligibility if he withdraws his name 10 days before the draft on June 26. The hoop sensation averaged 17.1 points and 5.4 rebounds for the Wildcats this past season.
