"The Social Network" won four Golden Globes, including best drama, making it a front-runner in Hollywood's Oscar race. The Facebook film also won best director honors for David Fincher, best screenplay for writer Aaron Sorkin and the best musical score award for Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association's annual Golden Globe Awards have enabled the non-profit organization to donate more than $10.5 million in the past fifteen years to entertainment-related charities, as well as funding scholarships and other programs for future film and television professionals.
