HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Whitney Port is following in the footsteps of her former Hills co-star Lauren Conrad by landing a book deal.
The 25-year-old reality star and fashion designer will pen an advice guide for It Books, People reports.
Port's book, which will be titled True Whit, is described as a "conversational, fun, and candid guide for girls looking to start out [in life] with style."

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Whitney Port is facing some drama off the runway.
The 25-year-old star is being sued by a former associate who claims she got the shaft after helping Port design her clothing line.
In a lawsuit filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Adrienne Baravetto says she started a collection called Eve & A in 2007 with The City star and her father, Jeffrey Port.

Adam Divello, the creator and executive producer of "The City," confirmed the couple's breakup Monday.

The 23-year-old star now has her own MTV series, entitled "The City," the network announced on Thursday.

MTV is reportedly working on a spinoff of "The Hills," which would follow the 23-year-old Port's coast-to-coast travels while working for the fashion PR firm People's Revolution.
A source tells Us Weekly magazine that Port will reportedly befriend a group of New York City gal pals, including socialite Olivia Palermo, as she makes friends on the east coast.
