MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — The Who, led by rock legends' Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey, hit the stage Sunday for the Super Bowl XLIV Halftime Show.
The British band kicked off their 12-minute performance at Miami's Sun Life Stadium with "Pinball Wizard." They followed with "Baba O'Riley," "Who Are You," "See Me Feel Me" and a fireworks-emblazoned finale of "Won't Get Fooled Again."
"It was amazing,'' lucky fan Amy Halvorsen, who was dancing in her seat, told the Miami Herald. "I grew up with The Who. The fact that they are able to perform at this level at this age, I'm thrilled."
After the game, The Who's brief set was made available for purchase on the video game Rock Band, allowing fans to play the part of arena rock star.
