HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Sylvester Stallone and his pumped-up pals in The Expendables remained No. 1 for a second straight weekend with ticket sales of $16.5 million, according to studio estimates released Sunday.
The action film claimed the top spot over the Twilight spoof Vampires Suck, which premiered in second with $12.2 million. The total was just enough to outpace Julia Roberts' Eat Pray Love, which finished third at $12 million.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Sylvester Stallone and his pumped-up pals in The Expendables seized the weekend box office title with a $35 million debut, according to studio estimates released Sunday.
The action film easily claimed the top spot over Eat Pray Love, the Julie Roberts film that premiered in second with $23.7 million.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Sylvester Stallone is flexing his muscles again.
The 61-year-old actor says he used human growth hormone to get buff for his new "Rambo" movie, which opened in theaters last weekend. And now the jacked-up star is defending his training technique for the action flick.
"HGH (human growth hormone) is nothing," Stallone tells Time magazine in its Feb. 4 issue. "Anyone who calls it a steroid is grossly misinformed."
