Sting can't wait to turn 60

The musician reaches the landmark age on Sunday and rather than be worried about reaching his seventh decade he can't wait.

Sting - who is married to 57-year-old producer Trudie Styler, with whom he has four children - said: "I had the most fun in the previous decade, between 50 and 60. So I'm anticipating that the next one will be even better. I mean, why not?"

The 59-year-old rocker - who has six children from his two marriages - says his working commitments make it difficult for him to always be around for his kids, though he insists he can always be relied on when they need him, particularly as he finds them easier to relate to now they are older.

The Police Will Play Final Concert in New York

The legendary rock trio, which reunited for a 30th-anniversary world tour last year, made the announcement Tuesday at a news conference alongside the city's mayor Michael Bloomberg.

The band's final show will be a fundraiser benefitting the production of arts programming for public television. A date and venue have yet to be released.

The Police, Sting, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, newHOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The Police are planning to make one final swing through North America on the heels of their well-received reunion tour, sources reveal to Billboard.

The band is reportedly gearing up to play approximately 30 dates in North America in May and July, before saying goodbye to touring for good.

The Police, led by singer/bass player Sting, guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland, have already announced plans for 15 concert dates in Europe during the month of June.
