LOS ANGELES — Redmond O'Neal is back in trouble again.

The son of Oscar-nominated actor Ryan O'Neal and actress Farrah Fawcett was arrested Sunday morning on suspicion of bringing narcotics into a jail facility, The Associated Press reports.

The 24-year-old O'Neal was giving a friend a lift to the facility when he was detained. He is currently being held in lieu of $25,000 bail, AP said.

O'Neal and his father were both previously charged with felony methamphetamine possession after being arrested in September.

The younger O'Neal is currently on probation for a June 2008 DUI and prior drug conviction.
