HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Tiger Woods apparently didn't escape to a five-star resort after his now infamous blowout with wife Elin Nordegren.
The embattled PGA star reportedly shacked up at a fellow golfer's deserted home in the days after the Nov. 27 incident, in which Woods crashed his SUV just outside the couple's Florida home.
"When she kicked him out, he couldn't exactly go to a hotel, so he ran over to Mark O'Meara's empty villa and stayed there," a resident of Woods' gated community tells the latest issue of Us Weekly.
The source said they viewed O'Meara's pad after Woods left and noted the golf champ certainly wasn't living in luxury.
"The house was gutted except for an air mattress, some pillows, a TV, snacks and Bud Light in the fridge, and a golf glove on the floor," observed the insider.
Woods has been in seclusion ever since the single-car crash. The accident came shortly after the National Enquirer published a story alleging that he was having an affair with Rachel Uchitel, a New York nightclub manager. After the first affair allegation, several more women stepped forward claiming to have engaged in sexual trysts with Woods, including former VH1 Tool Academy contestant Jaimee Grubbs and porn star Holly Sampson.
Woods later admitted to cheating on his wife, while also announcing plans to put his golf career on an indefinite hold in order to focus on his family.
"I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children," he said in a statement on his official Web site. "I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I've done, but I want to do my best to try."

This whole affair sets up
This whole affair sets up perfectly for an interesting porn movie title. LIke, "Tigers Pussy Cats" or "Probing the Bush with Tiger Woods ", or, or, or, the mind spins! Finding enough "actresses" to play the 14? or so (sounds like) roles may be problematic.
[Tiger woods didn't project
[Tiger woods didn't project any false image]
I call BS. He certainly did project a false image or at the very least allowed it to happen.
Think of the comercial with the kids saying "Im Tiger Woods".
Tiger Woods was born to be a
Tiger Woods was born to be a golfer (and is extremely close to becomming the BEST golfer of ALL TIME, if he isn't already, in my opinion)...and this so called "image" was not what he created for himself but rather what the American public created for him. I agree that his "fooling around" does portray the wrong image and in part causes alot of his sponsors to not want him represnting their company, however, I think some of these sponsors should take a second to think of the reasoning as to why exactly he was representing their company in the first place... was it because he was someone who has never made a mistake in his life? or was it because he is the single most successful athlete of all time?
People like relating themselves to Tiger Woods not because he hasn't made mistakes in his life (which up until Nov 2009 seemed to be somewhat true) but because he is able to set goals and attack those goals successfully time and time again. Look ahead a few years down the road when Tiger is dominating on the links, companies will be begging to have him to sponsor him. Even Tiger Woods is human and we all make mistakes , I think it is silly for everyone to react in such a negative way to something that really shouldn't be of a concern to the public (It's only because he is Tiger Woods that it seems to be of such "importance"). This may very well end his marriage with Elin but he can always take steps to try to fix what he has done and I know from her point of view that is not that case but this doesn't mean Tiger feels that what he has done was right.
All these sponsors that are dropping him based on his personal family life is rediculous, I mean, again, think of why he has made it to where he is (AS THE RICHEST ATHLETE OF ALL TIME)... it's because he is such an exceptional golfer (not to mention great public speaker... also keep in mind the golfs target audience) not because he has consistently made the right decisions in his personal life.........Myself as a golfer and as a supporter of Tiger Woods I would buy something with his name on it because I know it is of good quality (otherwise he wouldn't represent the product) not because I think if I buy it I'm going to be more like Tiger. I think Nike's decision to stay behind Tiger the whole way is the best decision they could've made, as he has created an extreme amount of revenue for the company in past years and even though these numbers may decline over the next year or so they will most definitely pick up again in the near future.
GO GET EM' TIGER!
Tiger woods didn't project
Tiger woods didn't project any false image. The American public created that image of Tiger. When he comes back to play golf, it will be the most watched sporting or historical event of all time.
Tiger Woods does not deserved
Tiger Woods does not deserved a good, decent wife like Elin Nordegren or his beautiful children. He has no moral principles. He has deceived, betrayed and humiliated his family in front of the world. He earned millions from sponsors and fans projecting a false image of integrity. Although, Elin eventually might forgive Tiger for the sake of the children, she will never trust him again.
