LOS ANGELES – Redmond O'Neal has reportedly tested positive for drugs while in rehab.
The 26 year old - the son of Ryan O'Neal and late actress Farrah Fawcett - is thought to have been caught after he began "acting suspiciously" at the facility in West Los Angeles, where he is due to carry out a one-year court-ordered treatment program after being arrested for heroin possession in August.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Redmond O'Neal has run into trouble with the law again.
The son of Oscar-nominated actor Ryan O'Neal and late actress Farrah Fawcett was arrested Dec. 29 on a drug-related probation violation, according to People.
The 24-year-old O'Neal appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom during a brief hearing Tuesday. He was ordered into a 30-day jail rehab facility pending a Feb. 2 sentencing hearing.
"It seems to me you haven't got a clue as to what recovery means," lectured Judge Michael Tynan. "It's a lifetime commitment. It's grinding, hard, painful work."
The younger O'Neal was previously warned that he would face jail time if he didn't clean up his act after a series of arrests and probation violations on drug charges.

LOS ANGELES — Redmond O'Neal is back in trouble again.
The son of Oscar-nominated actor Ryan O'Neal and actress Farrah Fawcett was arrested Sunday morning on suspicion of bringing narcotics into a jail facility, The Associated Press reports.
The 24-year-old O'Neal was giving a friend a lift to the facility when he was detained. He is currently being held in lieu of $25,000 bail, AP said.
O'Neal and his father were both previously charged with felony methamphetamine possession after being arrested in September.
