HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Nicole Richie and Joel Madden took their marital differences to the masses earlier this week.

On Monday, the newlyweds debated the topic of pillows with each of their respective Twitter followings.

"Do you ever look at your credit card bill & ask your wife how the hell she could spend 3 thousand dollars on pillows?" Madden asked his followers. "I do. PILLOWS. I mean can't we just go to Target and get our pillows???"

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — When it comes to looking back on her past struggles, Nicole Richie takes full responsibility for her actions.

"People ask me, do I blame Hollywood or my parents?" the 28-year-old startlet tells the October issue of Britain's InStyle magazine. "No, I don't blame my parents. It had nothing to do with them. I created it and manifested it, and I got myself through it with the help of a lot of great people."

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have been keeping quite the secret — the longtime couple is planning to get married!

"Yep. i'm engaged. Very happy," wrote Madden on Twitter Monday night. "Yeah we've been engaged for a while so your all kind of late on that. But Thanks for the hooplah all the same."

The Good Charlotte rocker also expressed thanks that the couple's engagement was kept under tight wraps.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Nicole Richie says her Winter Kate clothing line will offer consumers plenty of comfort.

"I just like to throw something on and have it be comfortable but have it look good at the same time," Richie tells People of her fashion line, which debuts in the spring. "That was really what I was aiming for."

Speaking from the New Year's Eve party she hosted with her boyfriend Joel Madden at Lavo Las Vegas, Richie described her collection as "loose and easy."
