LOS ANGELES – Nicolas Cage once chased a naked stranger from his house.
The 'Lord of War' actor awoke to the "nightmare" of finding the intruder in his home and wearing his own clothing but even though he had to get him out quick he didn't press charges.
Speaking at a press conference for his new film 'Trespass', he said: "I have lived through the nightmare, I have been one of those people who has been through a home invasion

LOS ANGELES – Nicolas Cage starred in a courthouse drama Tuesday that included negotiating sessions with a judge and ended with the actor settling a multimillion dollar lawsuit with an ex-girlfriend.
The Oscar-winning actor spent more than six hours at a downtown courthouse, repeatedly meeting with the judge who brokered an end to the case filed over payments and a house that Cage's ex-girlfriend claimed she was promised.

LOS ANGELES – Nicolas Cage met with a judge Tuesday to try to settle a lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend over money and a house she claims the Oscar-winner promised her.
Cage walked past ex-girlfriend Christina Fulton on his way into a conference with Superior Court Judge Teresa Sanchez-Gordon, who urged attorneys handling the case to try to reach a settlement before trial. He and his attorneys were in chambers for roughly 90 minutes before Fulton and her lawyers were called before the judge.

NEW ORLEANS – An attorney for Nicolas Cage says the actor won't face criminal charges stemming from his April 16 arrest in New Orleans.
New Orleans police say Cage was arrested in the French Quarter after he grabbed his wife's arm and pounded on cars in a drunken argument about whether a nearby house was the one they were renting. He was booked with domestic abuse, disturbing the peace and public drunkenness.

NEW ORLEANS – Bail bondsman Duane Chapman, known as "Dog the Bounty Hunter" to reality TV fans, says he put up the $11,000 bond that got actor Nicolas Cage out of jail Saturday after his arrest in the French Quarter.
Spokeswoman Heather Detert released a statement Tuesday in which Chapman describes himself as a Cage fan but says he was acting on behalf of Cage solely as a client and not for publicity for his cable TV show.
The statement said Chapman won't grant interviews.

NEW ORLEANS – Authorities say actor Nicolas Cage has been arrested in New Orleans on charges of domestic abuse battery and disturbing the peace.
The Orleans Parish Sheriff's office says Cage was booked into the Orleans Parish Prison at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
Cage has been a frequent visitor to New Orleans, where he has owned property and shot movies in the past.

LOS ANGELES – A valuable comic featuring the debut of Superman has re-surfaced in a storage locker, and police said Monday that it appears to be the same one stolen from Nicolas Cage more than a decade ago.
The mint copy of Action Comics No. 1 was in police custody after being found last week in a San Fernando Valley storage locker. An investigation into its theft and recovery is under way.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Nicolas Cage likely won't remember 2009 as his finest year.
The 45-year-old actor is being sued yet again, this time by Red Curb Investments, which claims Cage failed to repay more than $5 million in loans, according to People.
The real estate company also claims that Cage and his advisors failed to come clean about the Oscar winner's financial woes, including his $6.3 million tax debt.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — When it rains it pours. At least that's how Nicolas Cage must be feeling.
The Oscar-winning star is being sued for $13 million by his ex-girlfriend, Christina Fulton, who alleges Cage left her in financial ruin, TMZ reports.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The man Nicolas Cage claims led him into financial ruin is firing back, accusing the actor of going on a wild spending spree after a string of box office hits.
Last month, the Oscar-winning star filed a $20 million lawsuit against his former business manager, Samuel J. Levin, claiming the man's advice led him down a path of destruction. Levin has since filed a countersuit in which he claims he warned Cage about the pitfalls of his lavish lifestyle.
