HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Michael Lohan says he is planning to reopen his divorce case against his ex-wife Dina, claiming she's made it "hard as hell" for him to see his children.
"I gave her the family house, all the furniture and the $200,000 she owed me just so that I could see my kids and have a relationship with them," he told New York's Daily News.
"But after I gave her everything she wanted, she made it hard as hell for me to see my children," he continued.
"Even though my father is dying and my mother was in a car accident on Easter, my parents still haven't seen my children."
The former couple were married for 22 years (1985-2007) and have four children together. Michael Lohan says his ex tells him it's out of her hands.
"[Dina] told me, 'It's up to the kids if they want to see their grandparents.' But she's made no effort to put them in touch or make this happen. That is the bottom line," he said.
"My father went into heart failure again yesterday — and yet not one of the kids has seen him, he added."
Michael Lohan also told The News that the upcoming E! reality show starring his former wife was actually his own idea — and he plans to sue.
"It's the exact same show I pitched," he said. "She even used my title."
As for whether there's ever a chance for the couple to reconcile, Michael Lohan says, "I would never get back together with her. She's bent on an evil path."
